Q.Food Plots for Wildlife

How do I plant a no-till food plot?

A.

Spray existing vegetation with glyphosate 14 days before planting, broadcast seed onto the dead vegetation, then mow over to crimp residue onto seed for soil contact. Works for clover, cereal grains, and small-seeded brassicas. Skip the spray for frost-seeding clover in late winter.

Crop calendar pages cover species-specific timing.
