Are Kiko goats more parasite resistant than Boer goats?
Yes — Kikos generally show higher parasite resistance than Boer goats, which is why they're popular in the humid Southeast where parasite pressure is severe. Kikos require less deworming, have better hoof quality, and are lower-maintenance overall. Boers grow faster and produce heavier carcasses; Kikos are easier to keep alive.
