Saltwater Species Behavior
How do I find redfish in a marsh system?
Redfish use marsh systems as feeding grounds on flooding tides, retreating to deeper drains and creek mouths on falling tides. Find them by working creek mouths during outgoing tide, looking for tailing fish on shallow flats during incoming, and targeting oyster bars and current breaks anytime there's moving water.
