Q.Vegetable Gardening

What vegetables can I plant before last frost?

A.

Frost-tolerant crops: peas, spinach, lettuce, kale, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, parsnips, leeks, onions, radishes, turnips, beets, swiss chard. Plant 4-6 weeks before last frost. Many tolerate light frost; some (kale, brussels sprouts) actually improve in flavor after frost.

Frost-date pages cover your timing.
